Feliway Cystease Tablets are a nutritional supplement designed to support bladder health in cats. These tablets are often recommended for cats prone to Feline Idiopathic Cystitis (FIC), a common lower urinary tract condition. Each pot contains 30 tablets and is suitable for both short- and long-term use depending on the advice of a veterinary professional.
Feline cystitis is a relatively common condition, especially in younger and middle-aged cats. It causes inflammation of the bladder and leads to a variety of uncomfortable and sometimes distressing symptoms. The exact cause of Feline Idiopathic Cystitis is not always known, but stress, diet, and environmental factors often play a role. The word "idiopathic" means the condition arises spontaneously or from an obscure or unknown cause.
Common symptoms of cystitis in cats include frequent urination, straining to urinate, urinating outside the litter box, and the presence of blood in the urine. Cats with cystitis may appear restless, lick their genital area excessively, or vocalise during urination due to discomfort. These episodes may be recurrent and can be exacerbated by stress, environmental change, or a lack of enrichment in the cat’s home.

Calmex Equine is a complementary feed designed to support horses experiencing temporary anxiety or stress. Each sachet Calmex contains ingredients that work together to help maintain calmness and focus without causing sedation.
Horses, like many animals, are sensitive to changes in their environment. Transport, veterinary procedures, clipping, shoeing, and competitions are just a few of the situations that may cause stress or behavioural changes. Calmex Equine is formulated to help horses cope better with these challenges by supporting the natural calming pathways in the body.
Calmex Equine contains a blend of nutritional ingredients that have been selected for their role in calming the nervous system. The formulation includes:
Magnesium – A mineral that supports the normal functioning of nerve and muscle tissue. Magnesium plays a role in the regulation of the nervous system and may help to reduce nervous tension.
L-Theanine – An amino acid found in green tea, known for promoting relaxation. L-Theanine supports the production of alpha brain waves, associated with a state of calm alertness.
Tryptophan – An essential amino acid that contributes to the production of serotonin, a neurotransmitter involved in mood regulation and feelings of wellbeing.
B vitamins – Important for energy metabolism and the maintenance of healthy nerve function. B vitamins help to support the horse’s natural stress response and cognitive function.
Calmex works synergistically to support the nervous system without impairing the horse's physical abilities or performance. Calmex Equine does not contain any sedative ingredients or prohibited substances, making it suitable for use during training, transport, or competition, provided it complies with local regulations.
Sedalin Oral Gel for Horses
Sedalin Oral Gel for Horses is a veterinary sedative designed to calm and manage excitable or anxious horses. It is commonly used to facilitate safe handling, travel, or veterinary procedures that may otherwise be stressful for the animal. Containing the active ingredient acepromazine maleate, Sedalin offers a reliable method of tranquilisation, helping both horse and handler maintain safety and control during potentially difficult situations.
VET PRESCRIPTION REQUIRED - Please do not order without a Veterinary Prescription
Sedalin oral gel is widely recognised for its ease of administration and predictable sedative effect. It allows horse owners and veterinarians to reduce stress responses in horses without the need for injections. Sedalin is typically supplied in an easy-to-use syringe that enables precise dosing according to the horse’s weight and the level of sedation required.
How Sedalin Oral Gel Works
Sedalin Oral Gel contains acepromazine maleate, a phenothiazine derivative with well-established sedative and tranquillising properties. Acepromazine acts on the central nervous system by blocking dopamine receptors in the brain. This mechanism reduces the horse’s responsiveness to external stimuli, producing a calm and manageable demeanour without complete loss of consciousness.
When administered orally, the gel is absorbed through the digestive tract, and the effects begin to appear within 30 to 60 minutes. The duration and depth of sedation can vary depending on the dosage, the horse's temperament, and environmental factors. The sedative effect may last for several hours, providing a window of calmness suitable for a range of situations.
Sedalin does not act as an anaesthetic and should not be used as a substitute for pain relief. Its purpose is to reduce anxiety, fear, and excitability, making it easier and safer to handle or treat the horse.
Emeprid for Dogs and Cats
Emeprid is a veterinary prescription medication designed to manage vomiting and a range of gastrointestinal disorders in dogs and cats. It contains the active ingredient metoclopramide, a centrally and peripherally acting anti-emetic and prokinetic agent. Emeprid is commonly used in veterinary practices to support pets suffering from vomiting, reduced gastrointestinal motility, and associated conditions such as gastritis, pyloric spasm, and chronic nephritis.
Emeprid works by targeting both the central nervous system and the gastrointestinal tract. It acts as a dopamine antagonist, blocking dopamine receptors in the chemoreceptor trigger zone (CTZ) of the brain. The CTZ is responsible for initiating the vomiting reflex when stimulated by toxins, medications, or metabolic disorders. By inhibiting this trigger zone, Emeprid effectively reduces the urge to vomit, making it a reliable choice for managing nausea and vomiting in clinical settings.
