Description
Canigest Paste - 30ml
Canigest Paste is for the maintenance of a healthy digestive system. Canigest Paste is a complementary feeding stuff for dogs and cats combining a probiotic, prebiotics, glutamine, kaolin and pectin.
Canigest is particularly suitable for feeding to dogs to assist in the nutritional management of digestive tract upsets. Stress and diet changes can affect the intestinal microflora of dogs and probiotics can help to re-establish levels of beneficial bacteria in the gut.
The probiotics in Canigest may also improve health conditions in dogs exposed to stress and infections. Research has shown that Enterococcus Faecium is a useful nutritional agent in antidiarrheal therapy. Studies have shown that supplementing prebiotics such as Fructo Oligosaccharides and Mannan Oligosaccharides can increase the number of friendly bacteria in the colon while reducing the population of harmful bacteria.
Kaolin and pectin act as adsorbants. Adsorbants work by binding to harmful bacteria and toxins and removing them from the gut. Glutamine plays a role in the health of the immune system, digestive tract, and muscle cells. It acts as a mediator in the development of intestinal epithelial cells. Stress on the intestinal cells caused by digestive tract upsets can increase the need for glutamine as the body replaces the cells lining the intestinal tract.

Protexin Pro-Fibre for Dogs – Digestive Health Support
Protexin Pro-Fibre for Dogs is a dietary supplement formulated to enhance canine digestive health. It combines high-quality sources of soluble and insoluble fibres with prebiotics and probiotics to maintain a balanced gut environment. Regular use supports normal digestive function, promotes firm stools, and encourages overall well-being in dogs.
How Protexin Pro-Fibre for Dogs Works
Protexin Pro-Fibre operates through a synergistic blend of ingredients that collectively support gastrointestinal health:
-
Soluble and Insoluble Fibres: The supplement contains natural fibre sources, including psyllium husk and sugar beet pulp. Soluble fibres dissolve in water, forming a gel-like substance that aids in slowing digestion and enhancing nutrient absorption. Insoluble fibres add bulk to the stool, facilitating regular bowel movements and preventing constipation.
-
Prebiotics (Preplex®): Prebiotics are non-digestible compounds that serve as nourishment for beneficial gut bacteria. The inclusion of Preplex® prebiotic in Pro-Fibre fosters the growth of these advantageous microorganisms, thereby supporting a healthy intestinal flora balance.
-
Probiotics: These are live beneficial bacteria that, when ingested, colonise the gut and aid in maintaining an optimal microbial balance. The probiotics in Pro-Fibre help replenish and sustain healthy bacterial populations, which are essential for efficient digestion and immune function.

Fibor Digestive Supplement for Cats and Dogs - 500g
Fibor Digestive Supplement is designed to support your cat or dog's digestive health with a well-researched combination of ingredients.
Fibor contains six different natural sources of fibre plus kiwi, providing a mix of soluble and insoluble fibre to aid in digestion. Additionally, Fibor is enriched with a blend of amino acids and minerals to further support your pet's digestive system.
Should I give my pet a fibre supplement?
If your pet's current diet lacks sufficient fibre, a fibre supplement such as Fibor might be beneficial. Pets need a balanced amount of fibre for optimal digestion and stool quality. For pets with conditions like obesity, diabetes, or digestive issues (constipation or diarrhoea), additional fibre can help manage these conditions under veterinary guidance.
