Description

20mg Carprox Vet Tablets for Dogs

Carprox Vet may only be supplied with a valid veterinary prescription issued by your vet. You should only purchase Carprox Vet Tablets if you have or are in the process of arranging such a prescription. See information bar for further details.

Carprox Vet Tablets contain the active ingredient Carprofen (a NSAID) and are used for the reduction of inflammation and pain caused by musculoskeletal disorders and degenerative joint disease

Indications for use
20mg Carprox Vet tablets are used for the reduction of inflammation and pain caused by musculoskeletal disorders and degenerative joint disease. Carprox Vet can also be used as a follow up to parenteral analgesia in the management of post operative pain.

Contra-indications
Do not use 20mg Carprox Vet tablets in cats.
Do not use Carprox in pregnant or lactating bitches.
Do not use in dogs less than 4 months of age.
Do not use Carprox Vet 20mg in case of hypersensitivity to active substance or to any of the excipients.
Do not use in dogs suffering from cardiac, hepatic or renal disease, where there is a possibility of gastrointestinal ulceration or bleeding, or where there is evidence of a blood dyscrasia.

Using 20mg Carprox Vet in aged dogs may involve additional risk. If such a use cannot be avoided, dogs may require careful clinical management. Avoid using Carprox Vet in any dehydrated, hypovolaemic or hypotensive dog, as there is a potential risk of increased renal toxicity. NSAIDs such as Carprox Vet can cause inhibition of phagocytosis and hence in the treatment of inflammatory conditions associated with bacterial infection, appropriate concurrent antimicrobial therapy should be instigated.

Special precautions for storage
Do not store 20mg Carprox Vet tablets above 25°C. Store Carprox Vet in the original package in order to protect from light and moisture. I

What our customers say about us.

I've used Vet Dispense a few times now for my cat's medication needs and this most recent time was fantastic. Not only did i get a reply to an email within about 15 minutes of me sending it, but once ordered, the medication came in the post the next day which was truly appreciated. They are good!

I have used Vetdispense for my elderly springer spaniels medication for a number of years. Our vets were charging double the price as medication had to be stored in refrigerators. I get a prescription from my vets and send a copy with my order and it has always been processed and despatched promptly. I use an app on my mobile and can keep track of the order. If there have ever been any queries you can call and speak to someone (a rare and much appreciated thing these days). I highly recommend their service.
