Cystaid Capsules for Cats
Cystitis in cats can be a complex condition to manage, with many potential causes. Feline lower urinary tract disease (FLUTD) is a common diagnosis, and within this, feline idiopathic cystitis is often identified. 'Idiopathic' means the cause is unknown, but it's thought that a breakdown of the GAG layer plays a significant role in many cases. Cat Cystaid can be particularly beneficial in these instances, providing the necessary components to help restore and maintain the integrity of the bladder lining.
Cystaid Feline is not just a short-term solution. Initially, two capsules are administered daily for three to four weeks. After this initial loading phase, the dosage is reduced to one capsule per day for long-term maintenance. This ongoing support helps to ensure the bladder remains healthy and the symptoms of cystitis are kept at bay.
Each Cystaid capsule contains N-Acetyl-D-Glucosamine (125mg), a key component in the formation of glycosaminoglycans. Other ingredients include L-Tryptophan, Curcuma longa/lecithin, Folic Acid, and Vitamin D, all of which contribute to the overall health and wellbeing of your cat.

Each Cystaid capsule contains 125 mg N-Acetyl D-Glucosamine, L-Theanine 25mg, Quercetin Dihydrate 20mg. The understanding of the causes of Idiopathic Cystitis in cats is still in its infancy. However in many cats it seems the breakdown of the GAG layer plays a significant role. As some cats have a pre-disposed inability to facilitate the synthesis of N Acetyl D Glucosamine (NAG) from Glucosamine, supplementation with NAG may help.
Dosage: Cystaid Capsules can be given whole or sprinkled and mixed with the food. 2 capsules a day during the first two weeks 1 capsule a day for maintenance
