Description

Prinovox Small Dogs is a spot-on medicine for dogs weighing up to and including 4kg that need flea treatment or prevention together with control of at least one other parasite covered by the product. Each 0.4ml pipette contains imidacloprid and moxidectin, two active ingredients with different roles in parasite control. The pack contains four pipettes. Prinovox Small Dogs is applied to the skin, offering a practical option where an oral treatment is difficult to give. Your vet will assess which parasites are relevant to your dog before recommending a course or ongoing prevention programme.

The parasites covered by Prinovox Small Dogs include fleas, certain mites and specified intestinal worms. The product also has licensed uses against particular lungworms and for heartworm prevention in relevant circumstances. This range does not mean that every parasite is covered: it is not a tick treatment or a tapeworm treatment. The treatment interval also varies with the parasite and purpose of use. Correct selection starts with an accurate, recent weight. Prinovox Small Dogs is the canine product for the smallest weight band; a growing puppy or a dog near the upper limit may need to be weighed again before the next supply.
