Animalintex is a highly absorbent, multi-layered poultice and wound dressing designed to support the treatment of a wide range of conditions in horses and other animals. It is licensed for veterinary use in the UK and is commonly used for both first aid and ongoing wound management.
This product is manufactured from a combination of absorbent cotton wool, a non-woven cover, and a plastic backing. The dressing is impregnated with mild boric acid and tragacanth, allowing it to act as both a poultice and a dry dressing. It can be applied hot, cold, or dry depending on the clinical need.
Animalintex is suitable for use on horses, dogs, and other domestic animals under the guidance of a veterinary professional. Each sheet measures approximately 20cm x 40cm and can be cut to size for ease of application.
