Adaptil is a synthetic reproduction of the canine appeasing pheromone (DAP) produced by bitches to comfort and reassure their newborn puppies.

Adaptil helps your puppy or dog to feel calmed and reassured in situations that would otherwise cause anxiety. Simply activate the collar by removing from sealed pouch and fitting it snugly around your dogs neck. One size fits all, simply cut off any excess collar once fitted.

The Adaptil collar is odourless, non-sedative and non-systemic and so may be used alongside other medication. If you are leaving your new puppy alone for the first time, it can be a very distressing experience for both owner and puppy. Pheromones can help calm puppies at this time of change as well as older dogs who are left alone during the day.

This 'Adaptil Calm Collar' is impregnated with a calming pheromone and releases it constantly from the collar to calm your dog in stressful situations. The pheromone helps your dog feel reassured and relaxed in situations such as being left alone, fireworks, thunderstorms, visiting the vet, travelling and general noisy events that may make your dog anxious. This collar can be worn continuously for up to 4 weeks.
