Onsior 10mg for Dogs - per Tablet

Onsior 10mg for Dogs - per Tablet

10mg Onsior for Dogs is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) specifically designed to alleviate pain and inflammation associated with chronic osteoarthritis in dogs. Onsior is part of the coxib class of NSAIDs, which are renowned for their effectiveness and safety.

Chronic osteoarthritis (Arthritis) is a common condition in dogs, particularly as they age. It involves the progressive degeneration of the cartilage within joints, leading to discomfort, pain, and reduced mobility. Arthritis can significantly impact a dog's quality of life, making everyday activities such as walking, running, or even standing up increasingly difficult.

Onsior 10mg works by targeting and inhibiting an enzyme responsible for producing prostaglandins, substances that play a key role in triggering pain and inflammation. By blocking this enzyme, Onsior effectively reduces the discomfort associated with chronic osteoarthritis, helping your dog lead a more active and fulfilling life.

4.8mg Zenrelia for Dogs - Per Tablet

4.8mg Zenrelia for Dogs - Per Tablet

4.8mg Zenrelia for Dogs

Zenrelia 4.8mg is a once-daily, tablet formulated for dogs aged twelve months and older to manage the itch and inflammation linked to allergic and atopic dermatitis. The active ingredient, ilunocitinib, acts as a non-selective Janus kinase (JAK) inhibitor. It works by interrupting key inflammatory signalling pathways that trigger itch sensations and skin irritation. Zenrelia is not a corticosteroid or antihistamine, but instead targets the underlying immune-mediated mechanisms that fuel pruritus and lesion formation.

Since ilunocitinib is rapidly absorbed and has a short half-life, the tablet begins to provide relief swiftly following administration and clears from the dog’s system within about 24 hours if treatment is paused. This pharmacokinetic profile offers dosing flexibility, permitting treatment to be initiated or stopped as needed, for instance, during diagnostic food trials without lingering drug accumulation.

4.8mg Zenrelia is designed for convenience and compliance. It can be administered with or without food and requires no loading dose or tapering phase. The scoring on the tablets in multiple strengths enables precise dosing from as low as approximately 0.6 mg per kilogram up to 0.8 mg per kilogram (0.27–0.36 mg per pound). This makes Zenrelia adaptable for dogs of different sizes and weight classes.

In clinical trials involving several hundred dogs with allergic or atopic dermatitis, Zenrelia demonstrated rapid reduction in itch scores and skin lesion severity, with outcomes comparable to or exceeding those of existing JAK inhibitors. Visual and numerical assessments showed notable improvements in both itching and inflammation within weeks of treatment commencement. The repeat-daily dosing maintained this effect over the longer term, supporting skin health and owner satisfaction.

20mg Vetoryl Tablets for Dogs - Pack of 30

20mg Vetoryl Tablets for Dogs - Pack of 30

Vetoryl 20mg Tablets are a prescription-only veterinary medicine used in the treatment of Cushing’s disease (also known as hyperadrenocorticism) in dogs.

Each Vetoryl 20mg Flavoured Tablet contains 20mg of trilostane, an active ingredient that helps regulate excessive hormone production in affected dogs. Vetoryl Tablets are designed to be given once daily with food and can be split in half for accurate dosing in dogs requiring smaller amounts.

Cushing’s disease is a common endocrine disorder in middle-aged and older dogs. It occurs when the adrenal glands produce too much cortisol, a steroid hormone that plays a role in stress response, immune function, and metabolism. While cortisol is essential in small amounts, overproduction leads to a range of symptoms that can reduce a dog’s quality of life. These symptoms often develop slowly, making the condition challenging to detect early.

15mg Ypozane Tablets for Dogs - Pack of 7

15mg Ypozane Tablets for Dogs - Pack of 7

15mg Ypozane Tablets for Dogs are a prescription medication used primarily to treat benign prostatic hypertrophy (BPH) in male dogs. This condition involves the enlargement of the prostate gland, which can cause discomfort and other health issues. Ypozane contains the active ingredient osaterone acetate, which helps in managing and reducing the symptoms associated with this condition.

How Ypozane 15mg Tablets Work

By blocking the action of testosterone, osaterone acetate helps to reduce the size of the prostate, thereby alleviating the symptoms associated with BPH.

Treatment with Ypozane involves a simple, once-daily dose for seven days. This regimen has been shown to significantly reduce prostate volume within a short period. Studies have demonstrated that a 40% reduction in prostate size can be achieved within 14 days, with the therapeutic effects lasting for up to six months. This makes Ypozane for Dogs an effective and convenient solution for managing benign prostatic hypertrophy.

Senvelgo for Cats with Diabetes - 30ml

Senvelgo for Cats with Diabetes - 30ml

Senvelgo for Cats: The New Treatment for Feline Diabetes

Senvelgo for Cats is an oral solution designed to manage diabetes mellitus in cats. Formulated with velagliflozin, Senvelgo offers a targeted solution for maintaining glycaemic control, providing cat owners a streamlined and effective approach to caring for feline diabetes. This product is specifically indicated for cats who are newly diagnosed with diabetes mellitus and have not been previously treated with insulin.

Senvelgo’s daily oral administration is convenient for pet owners, available either by direct oral application or through a small amount of wet food. With careful weight-based dosing, Senvelgo allows precise control over the medication quantity administered. Additionally, it does not require refrigeration, making it a practical choice for pet care.

How Senvelgo Works

Senvelgo works by reducing high blood glucose levels, or hyperglycaemia, in cats with diabetes mellitus. The active ingredient, velagliflozin, is classified as a sodium-glucose co-transporter 2 (SGLT2) inhibitor. It targets the kidney's function of glucose reabsorption, promoting the excretion of excess glucose through urine. By facilitating this process, Senvelgo helps to regulate blood glucose levels without relying on insulin injections, making it an alternative to insulin for cats not previously treated with insulin.

The action of Senvelgo is typically well-tolerated, leading to visible improvements in glycaemic control in some cats as early as the first week of treatment. This control minimises the risk of common symptoms associated with untreated or poorly managed diabetes in cats, such as excessive thirst, frequent urination, and weight loss. Moreover, the solution has a low risk of causing hypoglycaemia, a condition of dangerously low blood sugar levels, which is a concern with some diabetic treatments.
